I purchased a 2009 Chevy Cobalt in Jan 2012, thinking that I got a reliable and safe vehicle, come to find out there were recalls on the vehicle that the manufacturer knew about and no one told me and they sold this vehicle without any mention or concerns for my safety. In Jan.2014 the snow came to Atlanta and hit us hard and as everyone left from work so did I, unknowing was that my vehicle had safety issues with it's ignition due to ridding over and in rough terrain.

I got about 1 mile from my house, and thats when I experienced my vehicle lost of power and ignition shut off in the on position. At that time due to stahl a truck rear ended me and know me down a hill at high speed into over 20 cars that had already skid and wrecked and was alone the side of the road. Then another vehicle hit me from the side, once I came to a stop the only thing I could do is to get out the back seat where I physically end up in and climb out the window. By climbing out the window is what saved my life, and I was injured but I was able to pull a child out of another car so that a runaway truck would have decapitate the child if he had remained in the vehicle.

GM say they don't have parts to fix the vehicle yet so give me a new car.

*** I will pay just like I'm paying for this Death Trap. Woe unto them it's time for them to pay!

Reason of review: Damaged or defective.

Monetary Loss: $9000.

My daughter has 2010 cobalt. Shut off on her 3 times before gm fixed ignition.

No urgency at all. Now her transmission is gone and they said it was damaged so it's not covered. Those cars ate *** all the way around and dealerships don't give a darn. They just keep selling them then refuse to help fix the cars.

They should buy them back is what they should do. No questions asked!!
