That is what car insurance is for.

Maybe they will pay a claim, but not sure due to the fact you did not have the recall work performed to prevent the fire.

At least you can ask and see.

I own a 2012 Sierra wt. all I can say is the trans has been rebuilt at 60k miles and now the rear differential is going but because no "codes" come up and the dealership doesn't want to do anything other then give me the run around. I've purchased 3 GM vehicles brand new since 2012 and will NOT buy another. They have the worst warranty in my opinion. It was sold to me as though if there ever was an issue it would be handled because there the best. Not so much. new slogan " NOT PROFESSIONAL GRADE" buy a tundra at least they can make a truck worth being proud to own

Now I have GM involved and that does no good. They won't even email me my case number.

What a joke. Just goes to show you corporate greed is alive and well. Forget about backing your product. Forget about even making a good product.

Just make an awesome marketing campain and box that turd up. I wonder why GM hacked the drivetrain warranty? Oh I know because they flat out know it sucks.

Since Dodge buys GM's old technology it's no wonder they are known for *** transmissions as well. Do yourself a favor DO NOT buy a GM vehicle.

Neglecting to change your oil is exactly what causes the timing chain issues on these engines. If you don't change your oil often enough, you did this to yourself :)

recalled for transmission 2014 sierra, they did not replace, they rebuilt, I now have a truck I paid 45,000. plus for. to have the trans rebuilt after a year. How confident does that make me feel and after that the Air condition has gone out twice, passenger front seat rocks like a rocking chair, inside light stays on I have to turn off manually. I have gotten terrible service from Vince Whibbs of Pensacola the service dept is terrible. They do not do what they say they will. Tailgate latch sometimes works sometime doesn't. I have purchased several autos from Vince Whibbs over the years this one never a problem. I don't know what is going on but they are not the dealership they used to be.

I purchased a brand new v6 Camaro, and the engine makes a rattle noise taking off, and shifting through gears, I had a shop foreman tell me he hasn't heard a vehicle make that noise in years!! with that said, general motors is refusing to fix the problem, and telling me I need to put high octane fuel in a vehicle that does not require high octane fuel. That is one of the reasons I DID NOT buy an 8 cylinder!!! It even states in the owners manual the type of fuel, and now they are trying to say something completely different. Would not recommend general motors at all!!

Bought my Equinox used (60,000 miles), and after 120,000 miles, I found out about the oil consumption issue with the 2.4 L Ecotech. Too late for GM to take care of it. Also, all sensors, except 3 have been replaced, and still don't have the power it did when I bought it. I do have a P0017 code; but, no one has figured out why. The related valve solenoid has been replaced, oil changed properly, and still get the code. GM dealer doesn't know, so I place no blame on them. I place it squarely on Chevrolet and GM. The 2.4 was used in various GM vehicles, and I've read numerous posts and threads on various sites about the poor quality of the 2.4. I don't know if the 6 cylinder version would have been any better or not. Won't buy another GM if I can help it.

I want someone to explain to me why a auto repair has has my car for 3 weeks and has replaced 4 censors and now says theres another censor out plus the 3 already recalls on this make! This is ridiculous! And why are they putting a reused recall part on the car!!!! It keeps dying they put the two main censors a new battery a gas pedal censor and now a gas tank censor!!! And the airbag recall! I want to know why the *** the diagnostics didnt figure all this out in the first place!!!

Someone help me out here!! So the other day my car desided to start running really ruff driving down the highway 2012 Chevy Cruze Eco! Traction control light came on! And the check engine light came on!! Then it started bowling smoke! A lot! And pulled off the highway! Right into a shop within mins from the exit! The car clearly was not running no where near of what it should of been! So I called a tow truck company had them tow the car back to the dealership! The dealership got the car and found that a spark plug and coil pack were bad on cylinder 3! Then that did not fix the problem! They told me cylinder 4 had no compression! Then they told me that it was NOT under warranty because the oil was low and they could not find any leaks on the motor so they assumed the oil wasn't full from my last oil change! So anyways I got the car back because I knew there was defiantly a oil leak!! Have photos of it as well!!! What do I do!!? I don't really want to fix it myself.. Oh and also the part where it is leaking "the dealership" fixed the leak..lasted about a week!

Complained about vibration numerous of times and they just push you off like, we got your money we don't care about you. I brought it back 2 days after I got it and they told me it was normal to vibrate. Steering also acts up because hard to turn. I would love to get rid of it and have my old truck back.

I am here to say I along with many other Chevy owners should get our money back on repairs totaling $4000,00 on the cam and Pistons in my engine. The truck is a 2009 and it took over a week to be able to get the cam because the problem is so nation wide that I was made to wait!!. The problem is Chevrolet is and has been aware of this problem and will do nothing to stop it and satisfied those who had to spend that large amount of money that we can not afford!!!!. Stand by your name and make it right!
