General Motors - 2011 Chevrolet Equinox Review from Westerville, Ohio

1.0
Details
Throttle body is going out on 2011 equinox. Dealership picked it up today and did test confirming what was wrong and said it would be 402.99 since my warranty doesnt cover it. I called GM directly and aas told they would help with cost assistance...needless to say dealership called back an hour later and said GM would not help but they would do it for 300 instead of the 402.......I can do it myself for 150.00.....not impressed with GM at all!!!!!!!!!!

General Motors in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta - Vibration issue

Purchased a 2015 Chevrolet Suburban Ltz. It has a vibration issue at 100 km/hr. Dealer checked it rebalanced tires then told me that every Suburban/Tahoe/Yukon has a inherent vibration problem and I would have to put up with it. Phoned GM They got back to me and said the same. This problem was well known at the time of my purchase and they knowingly sell these defective vehicles to customers everyday. It should be against the law. They should be held accountable.

I own a 2011 Silverado along with 4 other gm vehicles I purchased new over last 14 years. Truck broke down on way to work last week. Left it on side of road as engine power wouldn't propel me any faster that 25-30mph. Came back at end of day with a scanner to read...

Commenting ony own review to advise that I gave 5 stars where I feel it is deserved, bit I gave ZERO stars in the two categories that mattered that were customer service and/or problem resolution related. Those don't register! So understand despite 5 stars in some areas, I am one paused off consumer!

General Motors in Fort Lauderdale, Florida - Promises not delivered to First Time Chevy Customer

RE: 2008 Chevy Equinox The transmission developed valve issues which took 2 weeks to finally get the vehicle back. No Charge. > However still having issues such as the doors and locking, unlocking, opening issue which developed after the car was bought and they still have not repaired this. Come on guy's tell the so--called Bumper-to-Bumper Warranty that you reported it to them as Pre-existing which was a mistake and get them fixed or fix them as YOU Reported Them Incorrectly. GM's contract with their franchises needs to have an over-rule clause so as to get these type of issues resolved. > Engine Light coming on , the dealer says it is an oil pressure sensor: So we could not take care of this while we had the car for 2 weeks repairing the tramsmission. GM: You are losing LIFE TIME CUSTOMER'S, simply because your Franchises are not taking care of your products properly. OH wait --YOU DON'T CARE. Promises made by Dealer & Sales Staff mean nothing.

Just had the same issue, my wife was driving our new 2017 Buick LaCrosse on a four lane highway in Southern Alabama, no cars nearby, no houses, woods, limbs, people, etc... While driving my wife heard a loud "pop" and when my daughter opened the screen under the sunroof, the glass started to fall in.

Just contacted dealership and they have not heard of this situation before. Just starting the process of replacement.

General Motors in Sebring, Florida - GM favors profits over lives

After the 5th recall notice for my Chevy Malibu, some of which claim to deal with potential life threatening situations. We asked GM customer service to provide us with $ for a rental car as I drive 500 miles weekly and did not feel like dying. They said they would call us back, they did and they said NO. Funny because all of the recall notices said," unfortunately the parts are currently not available. You will be contacted when they are". Driving a Honda now. Over 120 deaths occurred due to faulty GM ignitions in the last few years. Why are they still in business? Profits over safety!!!

General Motors - 2002 Pontiac Grand Am Review from Perry, Ohio

I bought a Gm car new right off the car lot. A have bought many Gm cars and trucks over time but now im done. GM would not listen to my complaints. I paid 35 thousand dollars for that piece of ***. Never again will i buy a GM car or truck. Even when then know the car is junk they will not even offer a discount for the next GM car or truck. This is what happens when they put a car together from parts supplied by the lowest bidder.

THEY ARE NOT DOING A THING ABOUT IT ...THE LAST CAR I BUY FROM GMC ...ALL I WAS DOING HELP MY DAUGHTER OUT AND THEY KNEW IT ..THEY DID NOT CARE AND THEY WANT TO SELL A CAR..THEY ASK ME TO SAY SHE WAS LIVING WITH ME HOW BAD IS THAT ...

Original review posted by user Feb 07, 2016

IN GOOD FAITH I WAS ASISTING MY DAUGHTER TO PURCHASE A CAR BY COSIGNING FOR HER. DEALERSHIP WANTED ME TO FALSIFY THE PAPERS BY PUTTING MY DAUGHTER LIVING AT MY HOME WHICH IS A FELLONY AFANCE. I TOLD THEM NO. NEXT WHEN I REVIEWED THE PAPERWORK I FOUND THAT THEY HAD LISTED ME AS THE BUYER NOT AS THE COSIGNER.SO I WENT BACK AND ASKED FOR THE PAPER WORK TO BE CHANGED AND THEY SAID WE DID THAT TO SELL THE CAR AND REFUSED TO CORRECT IT. SORRY IT'S THEY BANK CONCERN NOW. TAKE IT U[ WITH THE GMC FINANCE. I CALLED GMC AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO THEM AND AS OF TODAY I HAVE HEARD NOTHING GMC FIANINCE WAS VERY UPSET WHEN I SPOKE TO THEM. THE OPERATOR STATED THAT SHE WAS PUTTING IN A GRIEVANCE IN AND I SHOULD BE HEARING BACK FROM THEM. I HAD ON MY VIENTNAM VETERANS HAT AND JACKET ON AND THIS IS HOW THEY TREATED ME BY 5 OF THE EMPLOYEESCOMIING AROUND ME ON BOTH SIDES AND IN FRONT OF ME. THEY TOLD ME TOUGH LUCK AND GET OUT OF OUR DEALERSHIP. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ATHER CAR FROM A GMC DEALERSHIP BECAUSE I DO NOT FEEL THAT THEY CARE ABOUT THE COSTOMER ONLY SELLING THE CARS. THANK YOU JOSEPH ALLEVATO
