General Motors in Baytown, Texas - Purchase of new truck

5.0
Details
purchased a new chevy silverado Z71 Southern comfort Black Widow from Tooran Foley in Mississippi.Purchased the extended warranty as well. Was told that the truck also came with a 2 yr,free oil change and tire rotation. Was also told GM would honor service and warranties anywhere in US. Well got to Ron Craft in Baytown Texas , for my first oil change and tire rotation and and find out that not the case. It would have been the case if i purchased the truck there tho. This is my first Chevy and my 7th new puchase. all others have been fords were i have always got dependable service and no problems from there trucks. Got a feeling im gona regret this purchase already. Should have bought the Ford Raptor instead.

General Motors - 2015 Chevy Tahoe - Total Lemon!
The day I received my vehicle it was already broken. The GPS was malfunctioning with a big red X over it, but I was told it would resolve itself after the map 'got acquainted' to the area as the Tahoe was broken in. The dealership said give it until 2,000-2,500 miles...

General Motors in Doylestown, Pennsylvania - 2016 Chevy Silverado broken 4WD 1500 miles!!!

1.0
Details
I just paid $55k for a brand new Chevy Silverado High Country and after 1500 miles the 4WD broke while my family was in the car. My back right wheel locked up and the tire was dragging. I havent been able to drive the car for 4 days now and the dealership gave me a dirty Nissan Murano with old food in the cup holder. This is my 3rd consecutive Chevy and after this experiance I will never drive another Chevy. I will be calling GM today to make a full compliant....like they will really care. Do not buy from FredBeans in Doylestown, PA.

General Motors in Fort Madison, Iowa - Valve seat failure on Chevrolet Colorado 3.5

2.3
Details
I purchased a 2005 Chevrolet Colorado new and found out the valve seats were to soft and they wore out. GM knew this problem so they extended the warranty well I didn't drive very many miles at first so the time expired well the seats are bad now and I will have to cover the costs to repair. This in my opinion should have been a recall and the cost taken care of by GM. I have purchase my last new GM vehicle we just purchase a new SUV from a different manufacturer and will be looking at a new truck in the future but not from GM since they didn't make good on this issue

General Motors in Wilson, North Carolina - 2012 volt chevy failed propolusion system; in repair shop 5+ weeks.

2012 volt w 77,000 miles had performed great for 3+ years. On a trip, engine light came on, few miles later, low propulsion light, and within 2 miles the car just stopped right in the middle of the road, completely void of power. car was towed to the nearest chevy repair shop. diagnostic showed several codes dealing with the transmission and a failed module communicating the generator to the transmission. 4 weeks later I went to pick up the repaired car. drove 20 miles transmission slipping. check engine light on again. back in the repair shop... GM engineers guidance to the SERVICE tech not helpful... problem seems to be that chevy failed to make a drop in transmission module. where can I find help for GM to reimburse me for a lemon car???

You may be able get GM to pay for the plugs, but spark plugs are maintenance items like brake pads and oil. There is no way that the wires failed due to the engine problem.

Call any garage anywhere , they will agree. GM states that the moisture in the driving light will not hurt the bulb or cause the light not to work, not sure if that is true, I guess it depends on how much moisture. If I were you I would buy a Keystone light next time.

It will be cheaper and has a lifetime warranty. Your local body shop and get it and install it for you.

I'm also having the timing chain stretch issue on my 2010 camaro. This IS CLEARLY a design flaw.

Many, many others are suffering with this GM failure. Class action law suit needed.
