General motors standing behind their product

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

The transmission on my 2015 Corvette is junk, the dealership knows that, GM knows it, and they will not stand behind it .I took it in a couple of years ago because of the transmission and apparently they flushed it and it worked pretty good for a while but now it tries to give you whiplash when you put it in gear and it jumps in and out of gear when you start driving, and dealership telling me its in the parameters of of GM , And thats BS! When I took it in the first time I ask them what were they going to do if it does it again they said theyd stand behind it, which they have not. I think I just paid like $360 to have the transmission flushed again and its actually worse thit in there innit which

Bad transmission on 2007 GMC Acadia

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

We purchased a 2007 GMC Acadia in July 2019 from Suburban Ford in Ferndale, Michigan. We haven't had too many issues but approximately a year ago we began having some transmission issues where the engine would rev up high and could not drive it faster than about 35 mph.

After taking it to a transmission specialist last fall he told me that the GMC Acadia is known for having that issue and he was able to reset some kind of computer code and the Acadia had been fine until approximately two weeks ago. My wife had the same problem occur when driving to work and could not drive faster than 35. After the car sat for a few hours she drove it home and the car seemed to be driving fine. I checked the gas cap, removing it and putting it back on and then took it for a drive and it was fine until yesterday.

The same issues and the engine light has been on for two days now. I had the car scoped at a local Autozone and it was found to have issues with the transmission control module and the Shift Solenoid. This is getting to be extremely frustrating. My brother-in-law writes the service manuals for GM and said that we are best off to either get the transmission replaced or rebuilt.

We are wondering if GM would offer any help to us in getting this done seeing as we have read literally hundreds of reports about these same issues with the GMC Acadia. Please help us, we really don't have the means to get this done on our own, Thank you.

Corporate political contributions

I cannot believe a US company continues to support politicians who wanted to OVERTHROW AN ELECTION! Please review your process as to who receives your contributions. Continuing to support potential insurrectionists will end badly for your customers. You may get tax breaks, but your customers wont have funds to purchase your vehicles. A LOSE/LOSE situation.

Preferred solution: Announcement they no longer support seditionists.

User's recommendation: Stop being GM vehicles until they make a public announcement they have stopped supporting political candidates who votes to overthrow the 2020 election.

Was told by Buick to contact at the dealer Customer Experience MGR.Called the dealer went through 3 different ladies who did not know this individual.

Transmission failed at 87000. Car is out of warranty. Never received any notice of transmission problems. Went to the internet and found all kinds of transmission problems from back as far as 2007.If Buick knew about these problems why did they not fix the problem or at least notify the customer what they need to do to keep the transmission working.I'm out $5407.00 dollars and I want some refund .

Dealers adding thousands of dollars to window stickers.

Dealers adding thousands of dollars to window stickers. Taking advantage of the people purchasing autos or trucks during the shortage of micro chips. I have seen $25,000 added to anew Corvette and $5000 to cars and trucks. They forgot about the bailout!!

Charging over listed price due to their supply failures. Not the consumers fault.

My vehicle has less than 55,000 miles and the front struts are consistently leaking fluids causing the truck to have a horrible drive and uncomfortable ride. I have taken the vehicle to Gerry Lane Buick GMC without aid in repairs; the extended warranty will not cover the repair expenses. AC Delco confirmed this to be a common problem leaving a shortage in these particular struts. Why hasn't GMC deemed a recall?

Job denial only after a phone call

I applied for a entry-level position and after a month of waiting and after I did the pre-interviews I had a 15 phone screen interview for general questions like which position and location. I got an email saying I was denied and that other applicants were better than me but how can I show off my skills with only a 15 phone call? I did not even get a chance to show what I am made of which is not fair at all. I should be given a fair shot like everyone else and having a decision made only based on my resume and a general phone call. It is just so unfair and unreasonable how they can do that without even given an applicant
