Back in February I had to purchase two brand new Hankook Tires with a front end alignment, two months later im back with bubbles in my tire, when returned to dealership "APPLE CHEVROLET YORK PA." they refused to replace the bad tire, stating I drove around with a flat tire... COMEON AM I AN ***... drive on a flat tire. I asked the ignorant service manager why my warning light didn't come on he didn't answer, I asked him again no answer, not only is the tire bad wondering if they even did the alignment no paperwork to prove they did it from them, they don't even have it. My complaint I'm driving on a donut because of greed, in the rain, Hey MR. President is this how GM makes the money back by ripping the customer??? I want my money and tires back, Ill do buy a FORD...Oh and it was a 2012 SONIC.. With 5 recalls already who's *** who....

Your vehicle was not repaired by GM, it was repaired by a dealership. Dealerships are franchises, like McDonalds, GM does not own them.

If the guy at the drive thru gives you a big Mac instead of a quarter pounder do you blame McDonalds corporation or the place where you bought it?

The 5 recalls on your Sonic, that you can blame on GM. The rest should be blamed on Apple Chevrolet, and Hankook Tires, also not owned by GM

GM didnt make the tires, and it states in the owners manual, that tires are a normal wear item. Ford will tell you the same thing

General Motors - GM customer treatment

Two days ago I experienced an unbelievable situation at a GM dealership. I own a 2003 Chevrolet Tracker that is a great run around town vehicle. Since it has almost 100000 miles on it my wife and I decided to look for a small SUV to take its place. We found the Buick Encore, went to the dealership where we had previously purchased a new 2011 Lucerne. We checked the Encore out, we drove it, and it handled great, it was the color we wanted, the interior we wanted, we were offered a fair value for our Tracker, and we were ready to deal. Then came problem number one, the salesman said “we do have a hard time getting the Encore’s since it is made in South Korea”. My research had not uncovered this detail, we try very hard to buy American whenever possible, and yes I understand that a great number of parts for American made vehicles come from other countries. I have a 2004 GMC pickup that the rotors have essentially rusted off the truck. The GM parts department said, “Well that’s what happens when we get our parts from China”. I supported the Government bailout of GM and Chrysler, but I thought it was understood that future GM plants built in Foreign Countries would sell those vehicles to only that Country, they would not be sent to the US. I was wrong. And remember this is the first year for the Encore, it’s not like this vehicle has been made there for years. This has happened since the bailout. Yes, I know my Tracker was made in Canada, but to my knowledge Canada has not sent known inferior and counter fit item to the US. Now, here is problem number two. On the front window was a dealer made reduced price number on a sales sheet about 17 x 11 inches. As we were writing up the sale form the salesman informed us we were not eligible for the over $500 reduced price, because that was an incentive for non GM owners only. Our incentive would be $182 if we joined a credit union. I could not believe what I was hearing. After owning 20 GM vehicles, 11 of them new purchases, I was being told that this was going to be held against me for an incentive. So much for GM band loyalty. I was wrong again. Needless to say this broke the deal. I can assure GM one thing, I will never buy another GM product, and if another bailout is requested from GM, I will be one the front row to protest, testify or whatever I can do to stop it. My last comment” Wake up America” this is not right!

General Motors in Newark, New Jersey - 2012 Equinox

We were driving home along a highway Sunday night. The check battery charging system light came on then went off. the Stabilitrak light came on then went off. Then all the lights interior & exterior went off along with all electrical. The headlights came back dim. Going up a hill the engine went off I was able to coast to a business I had no power steering or brakes. I coasted enough to get into the driveway & eventually stopped. I was on a very dark & deserted section of road when this started. I had my Daughter Elderly father & Husband in the car. If we went on to the other route we could have been killed. We had to get towed to the dealer who now says nothing is wrong. There had to be something wrong. A vehicle less than 2 years old should not just dye. This is a new problem. Last week it was jerking forward on it's own. I hate this vehicle. I want something done before someone gets seriously injured or worse.

General Motors in Kennewick, Washington - False Instructions in Owner's Manual

I bought a 2011 Chevrolet Cruze. Owner's manual states you can tow four wheels down "dinghy tow" with an automatic or manual transmission and gives you steps that you have to follow. Apparently Chevrolet changed their minds and are now saying you cannot. That is all well and good except I traded in my 2005 Mercedes (mint) and GM is telling me "oh well your loss". Not to mention all the hundreds on thousands of people out there that are towing this model. I will never buy another GM product as long as I live. Oh yeah, trading in my Yukon Denali ASAP.

General Motors in Charleston, West Virginia - Debbie Shepherd

Bought my last one in 2007. It will be my last one for real. The fuel sensor went bad at approx 39000 miles. Got a letter from GM that that was a problem with Trailblazers and the company will onlly pay 50% towards cost of repairs. The fact that I have purchased 4 brand new vehicles from GM in a span of 12 years means nothing for customer loyalty. I will purchase my next new vehicle from Honda or Toyota. GM has left me no choice but to take my business somewhere else as customer loyalty is not rewarded at GM.

I too have a 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer with bad fuel sensor. Was told it was over the mileage.

I have a Ford F150 and Dodge 2500 , both have similar mileage. Fuel sensors still work in those! Also, the fuel pump and sensor were replaced when Trailblazer was couple years old.

Very disappointed, it is a known problem, but they don't think it is their responsibility to fix.

General Motors - GM PRODUCTS-UNRELIABLE!!!!

My 2007 cobalt (74,310 KM) needed a new engine due to mechanical failure. I sent a letter and detailed the problem with my car and included the car repair I had to pay to have it fixed. They are more concerned that I did not take it to the GM dealership so they can get more money out of me!! Customer Service called and did not even show compassion that their product was faulty. I kept hearing it was 8 months past the warranty. Again..74,310 KM on it!!!! GM Canada does not stand behind their product. So disappointed!!

Really? You went somewhere else and got it fixed...

after the warranty had run out... and then you brought them the bill expecting them to pay you back? Do you have any clue how warranty even works? I could explain it, but you're obviously too *** to understand.

Just go whine on the internet... that'll make you smarter

A friend of mine bought a new chevy truck in 2008 and the truck was using oil. Not much about a half a quart between changes. The dealer wouldn't do anything about it.

He called GM and they called the dealer and he ended up getting a new engine. He had 20,000 miles on it at the time.

Call GM and tell them about it. Dealers are scared to death of the manufacturer because after so many complaints they get their franchise pulled.

General Motors in Tampa, Florida - 2012 camaro front main seal leak

Took for oil change at 3500 miles and a leak was noticed. Turned out to be a front main seal leak. Car currently in shop not for repair. Going on day 5. Very unhappy to buy a car which obviously had a leak right off the assembly line. I usually keep my cars for 10 years or so but not this one. I am sure GM will do nothing about this but I will try. I do not want this car after this. I have always owned Corvettes and traded one in for this car. Big mistake. I bought the LS which was my first mistake. Buyer beware. I have seen a few threads on oil leak with camaro.

I own 4 GM products; 1994 GMC Sanoma (White) 1995 GMC 2500 PU (Blue) 1996 GMC Suburban (Tan) 2000 Buick LeSabre (Gold) The reason for this communication is an apparent defect in GM product paint products. I have noticed this problem for many years from a large number...

Sorry - hit the *** button trying to read those comments, but it added one more hit to ***. Did not mean to do this! The paint is coming off of my 2007 Chevy Tahoe as well, so I agree that GM has a paint problem!

General Motors in Starkville, Mississippi - Thought I was buying leather seats but no

I am a long time GM fan and customer. I have always bought leather interior. I recently had to have the seat on my LTZ !/2 ton p/u repaired. They could not repair it because it was vinyl instead of leather.Invoice says lthr appointed seats, so I thought seats and back were leather--wrong-I was told by a GM rep that it could be leather like material such as vinyl-Then they said it was not their problem-- it is the dealers. Go Figure. Dealer has never heard of this and has no idea how to proceed. I hope this is not also the case with my wife's 2011 Cadillac! Or the many GM vehicles before that. What's up with you General Motors? AND SADLY YOU DON'T CARE!
