General Motors in Starkville, Mississippi - Thought I was buying leather seats but no
I am a long time GM fan and customer. I have always bought leather interior. I recently had to have the seat on my LTZ !/2 ton p/u repaired. They could not repair it because it was vinyl instead of leather.Invoice says lthr appointed seats, so I thought seats and back were leather--wrong-I was told by a GM rep that it could be leather like material such as vinyl-Then they said it was not their problem-- it is the dealers. Go Figure. Dealer has never heard of this and has no idea how to proceed. I hope this is not also the case with my wife's 2011 Cadillac! Or the many GM vehicles before that. What's up with you General Motors? AND SADLY YOU DON'T CARE!
General Motors in Bay City, Michigan - 2005 Chevy Equinox Bad Head Gasket
General Motors should something about this common problem in the model I took my SUV in for service in Oct 2012, and was told that I needed head gasket, called GM was given a service no and told where to take it to local dealership, they informed me there was no problem, replaced the antifreeze, case was closed. So, now 03/2013 antifreeze low and temp lite going to hot level, take SUV back to dealer and was told that it needs head gasket. Contact GM again and they told me that now that could not help me. What a lie they knew that the problem should of been fix the first time. GM needs to do something about the problems with DEXCOOL that they use that causes cracks.
General Motors in Saint Catharines, Ontario - NEVER BUY GM RUST BUCKETS
My 2008 Saturn Vue is rusting out... not by the wheels or along the underneath of the car door panels but up high along a plastic piece that covers a door latch!! The rust hides underneath and festers out of site until it's too late to notice it then blooms outside the plastic to makes a real mess of the entire area. GM fixed it once, at the time the service manager said it was probably some type of design problem with the plastic hitting the metal ... two years later, the rust is even worse than the first time! The stinker is the truck is still under warranty for rust but it has to be *** It will be *** but probably one month after the rest of the warranty is up.... What a JOKE! On top of the rust I've been throwing money at a problem (front right knocking and vibrations) that just seems un-fixable, a lot of people have the same problem with the truck and it should have been a recall... GM ducked out of that one too.. *** COMPANY and *** !!!!
General Motors in Saint Louis, Missouri - GM is holding me hostage!!
I took my Cadillac CTS to be repaired on February 21, 2013 because the key would not come out of the ignition when the car was turned off. I was told I needed a new computer system. After the new system was installed and “flashed” the key still would not come out of the ignition. I was then told the sensors needed to be replaced. Needless to say, they key is still in the ignition. After many missed deadlines and several phone calls, I am now being told that they are “on hold.” The repair shop has indicated this is a wide-spread problem, their hands are tied until they receive a software update from GM and my vehicle cannot be repaired until they receive this. I have been told that the shop has been in contact with GM on a daily basis and they are promised it is forthcoming but have been given no definitive date. So, essentially I am being held hostage by GM. I am quite troubled by this since my entire family drives Cadillacs and I was wondering if anyone else is encountering this issue.

the pretty crome plastic goor handle broke off.went to dealer ordered one $67.00 went to pick it up 2 days after they said it would be in and said it was on back order. went to avance auto they said would have to order it $99.00 didnt do that. so i epoxyed it lasted a week. was in winchester va 3/9/2012 went to car quest they had one for $105.00 didnt get it .went to chevy dealer down their and the man checked for it and said gm has none at all the price was still $67.00 i told him car quest had one for 105 and he said he would call to see if he could get it cheaper it went down to $88.00 and i still didnt get it. . waiting for romney dealer to see what they say this week .for now i will take door panel off and wrap a piece of wire around lacth cable so my wife would be able to open door with out rolling window down all the time.marvin

Purchased a 2012 Cadillac CTS Wagon and vehicle does not meet MPG Highway miles. And the District Specialist that I delt with at Cadillac was absolutely useless. I research everything she told me about the mileage and it did not make sense especially driving 55 mile per hour on the highway, when minimum speed limit is 60 to 65 in certain areas. Also went to www.economyfuel.gov as she advised me to and that was false information. Very disappointed in gas mileage, FALSE ADVERTISEMENT ON STICKER!!!!!!!!!!!!! I should of bought another foreign car at lease with my last vehicle an Audi my MPG were according to spec.

i bought a 2013 cruze rs ,it has 2500 miles . it rides like a lunber wagon , alot of blind spots , viewing is very very poor , went from standish mi to west branch mi 28 miles each way used one quarter of a tank '' not getting no 35 miles to the gallon as gm promises.very hard getting in and out . i.ve bought gm for alot of years check under deborah r cousineau and lester a cousineau 3617 angus st . standish , mich . 48658 . this really makes a person or persons to change there mind . also i took it to a dealer i smell anti freeze when it warms up , they said they were a where , waiting for recall . now what wait for car to blow up. can't get in and out ,very poor . hope you'd buy one.took in in heater won;t warm up until 10 to 15 minutes oh thats normal.

Very dear you. I must tell you that i have always had a GM product in hand this is my first time i am having such proble. I bought a Cadillac SRX-4 Deluxe at Gravel Auto Montreal, i have bought it full equiped except the fog lights. My GPS is totally not functionnal. This should be under warranty. When i called Gravel, they told me i was not in their computer and they make me run from places to places. I am down to 14% in my oil range, and i will soon have to take in for a big checkup, change my tires and all the nescessary. But i need to get my GPS replaced. They had re-initialized it 3 times and it is even worst. I am loosing money because of that because, i am a computer tech and i have to go from place to place and if i don't have my GPS, i just can't go. I am not getting a good service from Gravel. I have tried to call Mr. Gravel 2 times, i left messages, but he never called me back. My sellers are never there. So i need your assistance to get that GPS raplaced the soonest. My Cadillac SRX-4 is 2012. You know, for me GM is huge, but when you see a car dealer dealing like them, it does not make GM at their best value. Before i go to the government to get help, because this truck was really expensive, and i would be loosing too much. I NEED YOUR HELP AND ASSISTANCE. General Motors in Glendale, California - GM/Bill Gatton Chevrolet sold me a new car that had been damaged and repainted.
Bought a NEW Cobalt and discovered that it had been wrecked and repainted. Still under warranty. VP Chris Lee of Bill Gatton Chevrolet said "We are not going to help you with this. It is a GM issue and they should have to make the concession." Stonewalled by GM Customer Service reps.(multiple ones). Wrote GM CEO Dan Akerson, President Reuss and VP Copas to inform them of what is going on at bottom. All refused to help me resolve the issue. Sued them all and settled out of court. Lost my 45 years as GM customer. Look you GM over. Statute of limitations begans when you discover the damage.
General Motors don't stand behind their products
I purchased a 2012 Buick Lacrosse in February of 2012. Within a month of owning this vehical, I had to return for service because of engine light came on. The engine came on time and time again. They couldn't diagnose the problem, first service that had to replace a major parts on engine. The second time, they claimed it was a bad battery. The the third time it came on, they couldn't give me a reason. But said that, if it comes on again, they probably would need to do a major overhaul of the engine to diagnose the problem. I demanded that the car be replaced but General Motors and the Dealer(Sam Swope) refused. I even called the General Motors customer service center, and was told they couldn't do anything more for me, because they, being the dealer couldn't see any problems. My mistake, was trading in my Nissan Maxima, a car that I never had an issue with for this general motors product. This will be my last general motors purchase.
