GOTTA LOVE THE SOCIAL MEDIA EXPERIENCE AT GM.......THEY WANT YOUR VIN NUMBER, YOUR MILEAGE AND WHAT DEALER YOUR VEHICLE IS AT AND THEN THE BLANK STATEMENT, WE ARE SORRY ABOUT YOUR ISSUE. OH REALLY, WELL I SEE IT SITLL ISN't FIXED GM SOCIAL MEDIA. DAY 5 AT THE DEALER AND MY MESSAGE TODAY WAS, WE ORDERED A NEW BCM AND SHOULD BE HERE SOME TIME NEXT WEEK. WOO HOO FOR YOU GM, YOU DON'T EVEN MANUFACTURE ANY OF THE PARTS THAT YOU ASSEMBLE INTO YOUR NAMEPLATED GENERAL MOTORS VEHICLES. DO YOU EVEN HOLD YOUR SUPPLIERS ACCOUNTABLE FOR SCREWING UP YOUR CUSTOMER BASE. OH I KNOW, I'M ONLY ONE PERSON AND IF YOU SHUT ME UP, I WON'T GET THE WORD OUT ABOUT YOUR FAULTY PRODUCT. THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE AND YOU FAIL TO FIX THE ISSUE. I'M AM NOT BUYING THE EXTENDED WARRANTY THAT YOU JUST IRONICALLY SENT ME AFTER MY CAR IS IN THE DEALER FOR SOMETHING THAT YOU FAILED TO FIX! NEWS FLASH FOLKS, FIX MY ISSUE OR I WILL RANT ON AND ON AND YEAH I AM ONLY ONE PERSON, BUT THE POWER OF ONE PERSON CAN GO ON AND ON AND I WILL GO ON AND ON ABOUT WHAT A PIECE OF *** YOU SELL TO THE PUBLIC AND CLAIM YOUR CUSTOMER RELATIONS ARE GETTING BETTER. WELL MOST OF THE PUBLIC FEELS SORRY FOR YOU THAT YOU HAD TO BORROW MONEY FROM THE GOVERNMENT FOR A BAILOUT BECAUSE YOU HAVE SO MANY CHIEFS AND NOT ENOUGH INDIANS RUNNING THE SHOW. FIX YOUR PRODUCT OTHERWISE YOU WILL CONTINUE TO LOSE YOUR CUSTOMER BASE REGARDLESS OF WHAT YOU THINK. I WILL FIND A WAY TO CONTINUE TO TALK ABOUT HOW YOU CANNOT FIX A NEW CAR. General Motors in Springfield, Ohio - Frame detached from body of 2002 Olds Bravada, while my teenage son was driving.
The frame is so rotten on the truck after only 10 years that the frame separated from the chassis while being driven by my teenage son. GM has not taken any responsibility so far. I have spoken to 4 "GM customer service reps" who do not seem to understand the magnitude of this issue. This could be because they have all been located in a call center in the Philipines. Really?!?! Have yet to speak to a GM employee, but am not giving up.... They can start by teaching their customer service reps the difference between a "rust" issue and a "frame issue". To call this a rust issue is doing this situation a serious disservice! Note to General Motors - Middle class America deserves better!!!!!
General Motors in Toronto, Ontario - GM sucks
Paid for brand new 2007. Mind you, as I'm writing this. My vehicle is in a shop with electrical issues. I've had my brakes machined 5 times before I switched to new aftermarket performance ones. List of things Long story...I have an old beat up garage, small. At the time I was interested in Honda CRV and Toyota Rav4. But both vehicles could not fit into garage due to height. Alternative was GM's Chevy HHR. Ideal in terms of fit for garage and capabilities. Went to one dealership Golden Mile now closed and put a deposit for Chevy HHR 2.4L LT model. They day I go and pick it up. The salesman tells me he sold it and ended up giving back my deposit. How terrible is that. Well I needed a work vehicle asap. So I searched around until I found one at North York Chevrolet now closed also due to restructuring of GM. Bought the vehicle through financing. The salesman told me he found one in Quebec. Was having it shipped to Toronto through flat bed. No problem. The night I go and pick it up with my brother. The vehicle has 800+ km on it. I asked how come so many kilometers. He said they drove it instead of flatbed. On contract he changed the numbers to show it had only 22km and there were a few stone chips on the hood. New to this. But now no I was taken for a ride as not informed consumer, my fault. When 7000+km roled around. I was having brake issues. Vibrations. This woreplaced for a supposed brand new vehicle, which I believe is a Lemon or a DEMO. Ball joints, heat shield twice, key fobs twice, front shocks replaced, sway bars twice, thermostat twice, power steering column twice or three times, rear seat pull up knobs twice, shifter *** broke off, clutch felt like it was going near 50000km documented through service at GM dealership. Mind you all my work until now has been through GM dealerships. My catalytic went. They wanted to charge me even though my vehicle had 130000km. At present my vehicle has 135000km on it. My sunroof flip up visor broke on the highway. Let see what else from what I can recall. The list is too long. I tried to get help through CAMVAP, OMVIC, local MPP, newspaper columnists, the news and finally through GM Canada Executive Review Board. All no help at all. Majority of issues were near 50000km. Now if you were to read Consumer Reports for year and model of my vehicle. It clearly states the vehicles has issues with front end suspension, brakes etc. GM kept blaming me for taking this vehicle off roading. I said in the city. Are you mad. They even weighed my vehicle with my tools and found it was not over the weight limit. How insulting is that. Even at 80000km when i talked to GM Canada about my issues. They told me to send them my documents from services performed at GM dealerships. I sent them in by mail. They claimed they never received them. What BS. I ended having another conversation with GM Executive Review Board again. This time I went in person to hand over all my documents. Mind you I was fortunate to buy extended warranty and pretty much used it all up for all the repairs not covered under warranty. As for GM Executive Review Board. The person in charge wanted to photo copy all my documents for verification and store into their system. Guess what happens. She tries photo copying my documents outside of her office and the machine breaks down. She ends up going else where on the floor and the machine breaks down again. Tells how bad things are going for GM. She ends up keeping my documents and mails documents back by FEDEX the following day. The only thing they can do for me is give me $1000-$2000 for my vehicle towards a new vehicle. Are kidding me. I said how could this vehicle pass inspection to be on the road. This is a death machine. I call it my hurst vehicle. Not willing to do a thing for me. Mind you my vehicle was paid in full. No outstanding debt to GM's ally financing. A lot of people on line through forums for this vehicle had similar issues but not to the extent that I've been through. Just changed my clutch with a friend. Only now have electrical issues. GM dealership had to reprogram my ECM. Talk about a big headache. This vehicle is a nightmare. I even requested to speak to the President of GM Canada to voice my displeasure for this vehicle and how no one is taking action for this Lemon. What kind new car buying experience has this been. *** terrible. This person from GM Executive Review Board can see clearly this vehicle has a long history of issues but is not willing to do anything. Even if nothing gets resolved by me writing this story. I hope it reaches the masses. I want GM to know how hurt I am as a customer. I learned to drive through GM, rented cars weekly when I got my license. I really did wish now I waited a year for the SS version of this vehicle. From everyone was saying about how great it was. I'll never know and don't want to know now from the torture I been through as a customer. Maybe it's because i'm asian. Never truly treated right as a customer. But hear wonderful things from friends through competitors, imports and euro. Just fabulous. Sorry to hear about your troubles. Tried to get rid of vehicle. No one wants to touch a lemon. Even low ball. I might as well give it away. I even read a story about someone who ran their vehicle into GM headquarters USA. I thought that was great justice. Seeing what I've been going through. Too bad he couldn't have used my vehicle. Mind you I don't need to go that direction with the law. Thanks for listening to my rants. There probably are more issues not listed. More off the top of my head.

I bought a new car over 2 months ago. I've spend hours and hours talking with these retards trying to get the account set up. The car works fine (I can call onstar fine), but the bozos on the other end just keep spinning their wheels. I've tried every approach with these idiots. I've driven across California several times mostly "on hold" with these twits. Everyone there is really pre-occupied with apologizing. They do that a lot. In fact, that's all I've been able to get out of them. I think that is the only think they can do well.
General Motors in Prescott, Wisconsin - GM needs to recall 2002 Impalas
GM Impalas and Malibus I know have a problem with their security system. The system is called Passlock. Its a theft deterrant, but it turns out to be a pain in the butt for person who owns the vehicle. GM knows about this problem and won't do anything about it. The car will act as if its been stolen when your driving it. The lights will start blinking, the radio goes haywire. When you turn the car off, it will not restart. It will also drag down the battery. I've taken the car back to dealship and was told it was the BCM (Body Control Module) which is like the brain for all the controls on the vehicle. We paid for the BCM $300, and still have the same problem. Now the company Robke Chevrolet only does service, and will not address this issue. Car has been sitting in the carport dead for about 2 years now. I don't have anymore money to give them and not have the problem corrected.

i have bought chevrolet aveo hatch back model 2009 and while trying to renew the car licsense last may i.was informed by the registration office that the motor number have been erased and they cant identify the the motor number and accordingly cant renew the licsense as they doubt that this not the original car motor and i have to buy a new motor with a new number .which is totally rediculous. and i seeked the support of chevrolet egypt in this regard and tgey were very uncooperative. i have bouggt thos car brand new from egypt and it is totally unacceptable to buy a new motor for a good working car and your dealer in egypt refused to help us or find a way out of this
