i could understand if your problem was related to a factory defect, but clearly its a result of an accident that occured with your vehicle before you purchased it. its the service dept who is to blame here. i wish you luck

I have a hummer thats regularly given problems since the 2nd month of buying it. Right now its smoking and displaying the engine icon the past ten weeks. I took it to a dealer seven weeks ago who said they couldn't get a missing part They asked me to waited for the part to come from the main factory in Port Elizabeth. I ve waited for this part for 5weeks and it doesnt show up. The Customer care people I talk to tell me they'll phone me back but they never do. I phone them and they give me meandering hopeless excuses

own a Corvette and Captiva (as i am impressed by the service and products Chevrolet offer) and recently bought a Camaro approx 6 weeks ago, but this time i have been extremely disappointed and i want my vehicle to be replaced with a new one or return my money so i can go to another dealer and buy a different car. Problems i have occurred, After a few days of buying the car i could feel vibration with the vehicle when travelling at 100km/h i complaint to the sales person i bought the car and was informed this should go away after approx 1000km and is normal, but it didn't go away, also the voice recognition was not recognising the digit '2' and this causes a lot of problem as i cannot call any number using the Bluetooth which contains the number 2, but i decided to complain this when i take it in for the first service at 5,000km. However Approx 2 weeks ago i was prompted with an error on display showing ''engine power reduced'' following which i drove it to the showroom and advised on all the problems i was experiencing with my brand new car, following which i was informed to leave the car and i will be contacted asap i was not expecting to have this problem with a new car but ignored it as my tolerance level with Chevrolet was quite high. 2 days after i was informed vehicle is available for pickup so i went to pick it up, started the car and the display showed the same sign 'engine power reduced'' the car was taken back inside. At this point i complaint over the phone to the complaint centre i was advice but till date no one has contacted me for this. Couple days later i was asked to pick the car up, so again i went sat in the car and yet again the sign prompt 'engine power reduced''!! against the car was taken back and 3 days later i was informed car is ready for pickup problem fixed this time i did not go to the workshop and requested to deliver the car home, upon returning from work i started the car and found no error but noticed it has been driven approx 400km!! And an empty tank (it was provided with a full tank); i fail to understand what sort of testing requires that much kilometres to be put on my new car. However the following morning when i started the car the sign prompted again!!! 'Engine power reduced' i then called the workshop asked them to pick up the car and provide me replacement vehicle! After negotiating i was provided a Malibu, few days later i was informed the problem has been identified and it's a sensor that is faulty however replacement sensor is not available and they would order it from the USA which will take approx a week! Car was kept with the workshop for this duration upon arrival of the sensor it was fixed and i was informed car is available for pickup and the vibration is caused by tyre pressure not reducing so Chevrolet will replace 2 tyres but these are not in stock and could take up to 10-15 days so was advised to pick up the car now and bring it back again once tyres are available, so i went to pick up the car again!! A deposit of 2,000 dirham's was taken from me when the Malibu was provided i asked to return that to my card but was informed this will only happen after 3 weeks as we need to deduct any fines and Salik! Fines i understand but Salik, i don't recall charging Chevrolet Salik for when they were test driving my car all around Dubai! and 3 weeks!!! Anyways i decided to take the car home, once i reached home i saw there was a scratch on the rear bumper!! I now took the car to the showroom where it was purchased from Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai to replace the car or return as last thing i want i now the car to be re-painted! The team leader there said he had no authority on this and directed me to you whom i spoke to yesterday and explained the problem and i am waiting for a feedback. As per our conversation today the same sign of "˜engine power reduced'' showed up on the display last night i immediately called the workshop and requested them to pick the car up asap, till now i have not heard anything back, till now i have been informed that there is nothing mechanical worng with the car and its only the sensor that is playing up but the fact that this sign has came up again last night makes me wonder if there is a problem with the engine! Clearly Chevrolet has no clue to what is wrong with the car, last night i started the car with the remote and then the engine power was cut off by itself, this worries me because what if it happened while i was driving, this could have caused an accident there is clearly something wrong and i want the car to be replaced TODAY also note i bought this car to be driven around and not to sit in your workshop, my patience have really reached its limits and i need a replacement car today!! Or my money back so i can go somewhere else. I know i won't be coming back to Chevrolet or advising others to buy a car from Chevrolet after this experience.

General Motors in Monroe Township, New Jersey - Gm uses foreign call center

Gm customer service and products suck! When you call to file a complaint they start out with a nice American girl that says you have a good case, then turns you over to a "specialist" , which is actually a foreign call center. The government and the taxpayers bailed out gm and they don't care about their products or customers. I will never buy another gm product. It's a shame, I really wanted to support the American economy and buy American made, but the product and customer service are not worth it. You think you are buying a luxury vehicle when you buy a Cadillac, but it is really just an American made piece of ***!

Listen I had to call to get roadside assistance on a Sunday and the tow was never dispatched. I spent the next day trying to call to let them know what happened and I got a lady who barely spoke english.

She would not confirm or deny whether she was even a GM employee or where she was located. This is ridiculous and I am at day 6 without my 2011 equinox being diagnosed, let alone fixed.

I have encountered the foreigners in dealing with the debacle with my 2012 Cruze, which spontaneously caught fire two weeks ago (it was not related to the recall). I respect other cultures and I'm not a bigot, but it is really difficult to understand someone who says, in a heavy accent, "Can I be knowing you name please, Sir?" What!? You'd think if barely survived being burned to death they'd find a native english speaker to talk to me.

bought a (certified used car) from orr auto..during the financing stage they tell us the rate.... 9.39..i say No way..he says i have coupons ans lowers it 2 points..i say (after signing) we are not taking it home because im not comfortable with (coupons). he says take home i will hold your down payment and paperwork til monday,this is saturday evening late..i say ok, the salesman said its certified and all over this traverse is stuuf saying so. part of being certified is you have 3 days and 150 miles..ok, monday morn. i call to inform im bringing it back, for the finance mgr. to have my check ready and tear up loan..owner,(joel orr) calls and after telling him my concerns, tells me he will not accept it back. so i call the number to gm certified autos.. they so far havnt been able to get intouch with owner or finance mgr.but did speak to used car mgr. he said its not a certified used vehicle..WHAT?..another LIE..so now we wait to see if GM is going to resolve this..we trusted the salesman,fianace mgr and dealership..what do i do now? lay down and let it go??? i dont intend to

General Motors in Los Angeles, California - GM tailgate latch defective

The tailgate latch breaks on all of the trucks. I am on my fourth truck and my cousin has the same thing happen as well. The tailate latch has a plastic piece that breaks after use. I have had four trucks and all have had the same part break. I asked the dealer about it and "it is the first I have heard of it" LIE!. I see many trucks driving around with the same part broken. The part 88981030 clip is $ 6.72 at the dealer at the auto parts store or to make one youself would be $.05. I would like others with the same broken part to contact me. :cry I have a 2008 chevy colorado and changing the front rotors is the most stupidest design i have ever seen. Who ever was involved with in designing this should be fired. It is horrible to change.

Omg I have a Pontiac G6 2006 and they told me that mine isn't 1 that had the recall. So basically they are choosing which cars they will and will not fix. I will Never buy another GM vehicle.
