pcmforless.com can program the PCM to ignore the passkey signals from the BCM module to turn off the fuel. This in effect, bypasses the security system.

General Motors in Saint Louis, Missouri - Corvette broken and nobody cares

I recently purchased a 2012 Corvette. I had a collision damaging the right frame rail. GM apparently does not produce a right frame rail. Over a month and no part is in sight. I have talked to customer service till I am blue in the face. No help just sorry someone will call in 24 hours and still nobody cares. I have written letters to the GM board with no help. I have been a great customer buying approximately over 20 vetted over a fifteen year period. My first payment to Ally is due in August but I still have no car.

I did purchase that many cars because I enjoyed the Corvette that much and collected rare examples. Patience is a virtue but it is also easier to preach when one is not involved with the problem requiring the patience.

As far as the BS problem you are welcome to check out the story by calling the Fort Smith, AR Chevrolet dealership and talking to Tom the body shop manager.

There is a greater problem here. Should a company that builds cars for sale produce an adequate amount of parts for possible future repairs or is there no ethical basis for the company to act responsibly.

Why would you buy 20 vettes in a 15 year period? I have had experience waiting for parts that have had to be ordered. There were times when I didn't have a drivable car and I have learned that patience is a virtue.

General Motors in Melville, New York - Made a deal over the phone, go to the dealership and said the car was sold - lied

spoke to the "internet sales person" a number of times trying to work out a deal on a specific Dodge, found it on their website, made an appointment to make the deal, they even called me on Sat to make sure I was coming in and said it was a done deal. I go there after work Monday morning, they tell me the car was SOLD !! Sorry I didn't see this website before going there and before having any kind of dealings with them. - Not very trust worthy - they might be even worst than Toyota - adding them to the list of never dealing with them again

General Motors in Oshawa, Ontario - G6 2009 podium edition

We pruchased this vehicle brand new. The airconditioner sweats so much, that water runs down the front panel of the radio. We litteraly have to drive with a cloth to wipe up the condensation. Three years and still fighting. GM dealer does nothing but lie, and I have complaints with GM customer service, and still nothing has been resolved. They even said that they worked with the tech department of GM, and the answer was.............that is how the car is :( Really now, does that seem like the right answer? I am looking for someone higher to take this to, but no help there either. I am not giving up!

General Motors in Phoenix, Arizona - Spare tire is not the same as other tires on my 2011 silverado pickup

i contacted both general motores and midway chevrolet on bell road phoenix arizona. neither one of these companies could care less about this problem. i contacted general motores and i had to get one of the rudest customer service reps . when i asked to speak to someone her superior she told me their was no one higher than her and she was closeing out my complaint. i am 65 years old and have always been a loyal customer. no more . my son even went from chevrolet to dodge i will also be going to dodge. midway chevrolrt also could care less once the deal was done they never even returned my many calls. my extended family were general motores people as my uncles owned whynot pontiac of randolf massachutess . general motores has really gone down hill since the american public pulled them out of bankrupcity .i guess now they feel like screw the american public . i say pay back the money you borrowed from us now .

It's paid back, and please, PLEASE go to Dodge...you're the ignorant type of customer they love and GM wants to say "bye, bye" to.

We bought a used Chevy Silverado. Paid $25,000. In less than a year we have had to completely have the rear axle rebuilt 3 times. I contacted GM about giving me my money back that I have put into it. They basically told me tough ***. They said they do not buy back...

GM's CEO is Daniel F. Akerson. "Contact the CEO" website gives his address as 1326 Ballantrae Lane, McLean,VA in case anyone wants to bypass customer service and send him a letter directly.

General Motors in Miami, Florida - Battery Corrosion; 2009 Chevrolet Malibu

My almost 4-year old vehicle with only 12,200 miles failed to start. Removed battery cover and discovered the battery's terminals and cable connectors were completely covered by powdery specks - indicating serious battery leakage. Vehicle was towed to Chevrolet dealership service department - cost to replace completely corroded battery cables - $360.00+. Note: Other owners of this and/or other model GM vehicles have reported similar incidents. I'm sure GM is VERY AWARE of the problem but for some reason(s), they've NOT issued a service bulletin to their dealership regarding the problem or issued a recall.

General Motors in Bradenton, Florida - 2006 Chevy Equinox Blown Head Gasket

One more blown head gasket to the list of blown head gaskets already reported for this car. My car had the classic symptoms of overheating, loss of coolant, steam from the exhaust complete with a regular "smoke ring" of stream when the engine hit on the #1 cylinder. I will also add that I have had to replace the rear wheel bearing which I have seen several articles on. I have also replaced the engine temp sensor and the ignition switch to resolve the issues they created. I bought this car used which I know is the chance you take, but This will be my first and last Equinox.

General Motors in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Fired for drinking on personal time due to HQ

I was the Hartford, # 036 GM for the last four years. Working my *** off to hit my numbers. Selling digs that did not need to be sold just to hit my numbers. I just found out that I am being fired for my drinking problem and my health issues. The best part is Roto Rooter Home Office in Cincinnati, Ohio has now given my GM job to Scott Coutant acting GM, who sells this digs to customers in the state of CT and MA that don't need to be sold. Giving free camera inspection to customers and then telling these customers that their is a problem in the main sewer line going to the street, which is Bull *** 95 % of the time. Thanks, Kevin Lanning.

No doubt your drinking may be related to the pressure the company puts on management to produce by breaking the law. The use of unlicensed people doing plumbing in CT was probably a huge stress on you

Get ready to be mocked Kevin. I doubt the users of this site are going to be sympathetic to you getting fired for having a drinking problem. Obviously your "drinking on personal time" was affecting your job in some way.
