My family has always owned GM products proudly for over 50!yrs. My family has worked for dealers all my life.
The vehicles have always been well built and reliable. Until now. I own a 2019 Silverado (purchased 01/2019 (as a certified preowned vehicle) It has been plagued with issues. Now the transmission has quit.
Est $4000 for repair. I cant afford this. Within a yr of being paid for, I cant even use my vehicle. I have always maintained my vehicles and they lasted many reliable yrs.
I still own vehicles from 2006 & 2008 in good running condition. I am throughly disappointed in the quality of GM products nowadays. Unless GM chooses to stand behind their vehicles and fix my truck, my family and myself will not be purchasing any more GM products in the future.
I will also be advising others of these issues. Please do the right thing and stand behind your products.

Preferred solution: Assistance with paying Morgan GMC for the repair of my vehicle and investigate if they are over charging.or in with CarShield because if they are paying $5100 of the bill.
I went to chevy location
I went to major world chevy (43-40 northern blvd quuens ny 11101 ) in queens on sunday 10/22/2023 we made deal and everything i paid them to security deposit 500$ and we made deal for car chevy bolt ev and i told them i will come and pay rest of my balance for down payment on Wednesday i signed all documents for buying car they made hard inquired to bank and get approved from bank for that car i signed all bank needs documents
When i went there Wednesday they told me we raised to price 24.888 and sold to car another person when we made deal it was 21.800 $ and they said we will return your money i told them i want to car not money and this is not ethics .do you think is it ethic i dont trust now gm motor cause of theese location and i will tell every single my friend to dont do business with gm motor or chevy
Cause now im thinking chevy doesnt have business ethics thank you chevy

To whom it may concern:
I own a 2017 Camaro Convertible SS, 50th edition special. (Vin 1G1FH3D7XH0200299)The car currently has 28000 miles.
Around the 23000 mark and about 4 years into my warranty I started experiencing transmission chatter.
From this point on the response by GM has been poor at best. From research I discovered that GM sold multiple models from 2015-**** with defective transmissions(torque converter).
The service rep for Chevrolet of Stuart Fl. Encouraged me to replace the transmission fluid that might or might not resolve the issue. It did for a short term.
In the end all it did was push me out beyond my warranty.(suspicious and disappointing).
Now Im having to replace the torque converter and having to pay a significant amount out of pocket. Seems to me this issue was identified and started under warranty.
On top of that Ive had to wait over a month to get the new converter and possibly damaged the transmission. Stuart Chevrolet has now had the car for almost a week(promised 2 days) and has not offered any kind of loaner or rental.
So why am I having to pay for a repair of an issue that was identified by a Chevrolet authorized service center while the vehicle was under warranty? It was Chevrolet who recommended the fluid change and noted that it might not work.
My Dad worked for GM for over 30 years.
Me and other members of my family have owned many GM vehicles. This is the most disgusting and disappointing support and service I have ever experienced . I have made my family here in Fl.
and Indiana aware of how you are treating a loyal customer. This will be the last GM vehicle I ever own.

User's recommendation: If you’re getting transmission chatter in your GM vehicle and it’s still under warranty make sure you insist on it getting replaced. Do not fall for a better transmission fluid. It won’t hold up. GM has several models from 2015-**** that have this issue. They produced these cars with a defective transmission(torque converter) They won’t fix

Good Afternoon,
My 2021 GMC sierra needs a new coolant control valve and is undriveable until it gets one. I have been told it could be 6-8 months because the part is backordered.
This is completely unacceptable for a vehicle with under 36,000 miles on it fully under warranty. The dealership has told me they have 10 other trucks with the same problem leading me to believe this is a common problem with your trucks. This should prompt you to react promptly to get parts out to your dealerships. I have also been given a vehicle that is not the same as mine which will result in me spending 40% more on gas over the course of this time.
Do you plan on covering that cost? The dealership my truck is at is Betten Baker GMC in Hudsonville Mi. 3320 Highland Dr.
Hudsonville MI, 49426. I await your response on how you plan to get my truck the part it requires and back in my possession ASAP.

DonOn December 15, 2022 I purchased a 2023 Cadillac XT5 premium luxury vehicle. As of today the vehicle has not yet been delivered to the dealership.
The salesman informed me in February that the vehicle was due to be built at the end of that month.
Since that time I have been told several different stories as to why I have not received the vehicle. First I was told there was a transportation issue. A few months later I was told the vehicle was in quality. Another few months later I was told again there was a transportation issue.
On November 3 I made a complaint with the Better Business Bureau hoping to get a resolution and proximately one week later, was contacted by someone on the executive review team from GM Canada care.
This person was going to look into the issue to see what he could find out. He also told me that I was not the only person on his list that had this problem and GM was aware of their shipping issues and he would do his best to see what he could do to get me my car as soon as possible. On December 1 he stated he was speaking with executive of plant operations to expedite the delivery of my car. The following week he got back to me and indicated that the car should be at the dealership by Friday December 8 or Monday, December 11.
On December 12 I received another email from him, indicating that he was informed that the car was not at the dealership and again was going to look into the issue. As I had not heard anything from him since December 12 on Friday, December 22 I informed him that I was extremely unhappy and the next step would be to put my story out there so that other people can see how GM doesnt really care about their customers.
During all of this, I had also indicated that I was seeking some type of compensation from GM because of the delay. I was told that GM does not provide any type of compensation for these issues and it would be up to the dealership to provide some thing to me. Personally, I find that ridiculous as this has nothing to do with the dealership, so why should they have to compensate me.
He didnt get back to me to say that he was given authority to offer a $500 accessory credit which I could use to purchase some thing for the car from the dealership. Honestly, I think thats insulting considering the circumstances.

You’re not very smart if you bought a used car and paid on it 4 years while you owned two others. You should have gotten advice from all those family members who worked for car dealers.
I would say you have no loyalty if one incident has you running. No one really cares about your situation and you probably should not buy GM vehicles after posting here.
