My time, my 800 dollars in extra oil between changes .I have been a gm person for my entire life of 62 years and will never give that company one more dime or a second more of my time. Gmc trucks SUCK plain and simple ........all this in just 63000 miles

In 2007, I bought a new Ion, I do very few miles with the car. About a year ago I notice a mild cluncking sound coming from the front end. Lately it's gotten to the point where I had to have someone look at it. My buddy is a heavy duty mechanic. and so one Sunday, he...

Well I bought a new Ion in July of 2007 & traded it in in Oct 2012 with over 200,000 miles on it. It was so good I looked for a long time to find a low mileage replacement to trade it in on, finally found a better equipped 2007 Ion with 50,000 miles & did buy it.

It was the best car I ever owned, put front brakes & rotors on it @ 125,000 miles & still had the original rears on it when I traded it in.

I understand the control arm bushing do not last long, mine had the original clutch, belts hoses & coolant when I traded it in, put 1 set of spark plugs, air & fuel filter & really was a problem free car.

As for Nissans, no Asian cars are manly & I would only only a real American car, remember Pearl Harbor! I don't know maybe its OK to forget being attacked since it was a long time ago?

Don't waste your time speaking to General Motors Customer Service-Worthless!!!!!. They only support the dealer. It appears that GM is not interested in doing the right thing by it's customers. Sad to say now I wish they had not been bailed out-they only...

I bought a 2004 3/4 ton Suburban in June 2012. It had 32000 original miles on it.

I drove it 2000 miles and the fuel pump went out leaving me stranded in the desert between Las Vegas and Reno. GM says because I did not buy the extended warranty with it being a used vehicle that they would not even cover the part. The car is 8 years old and they feel it was age. So basically the parts on their cars die with age and not use.

I will never buy another GM product and am working with a Ford dealership to off load the 3 GM products I have. Worst customer service ever!!!!!!!!!!!!

I own a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am GT. The dashboard started curling after about 5 years. I contacted the dealership and was told there was no recall and the car was out of warranty. The only solution was to have the dashboard and vents replaced to the tune of $1,100!!! ...

You buy a used American car and expect what? Historically, American cars have placed far behind the German & Japanese in quality.

If you want pristine quality you should buy new.

If you have a beer budget why would you expect Champagne taste? Next time perform the minimal amount of due diligence before spending your hard earned money and you will discover your headaches will be minimized.

chevrolet is right. If your mechanic was indeed trusty, he would have informed you of the recall BEFORE he repaired your car.

GM will reimburse you for the repair.

All you need to do is supply a receipt and fill out a short form. And I know this because I'm a GM Service Writer.

General Motors in Stanton, California - Engineered failure

For the third time, a GM product I have had installed/replaced at a dealer has failed Les than one year after warranty has expired. First is was my injctors. They (4 out of 8) failed 2000 miles past warranty. Had to pay out of pocket. Then my center cluster label went out. Had out replaced. replacement went put 1 month after warranty expired. Now, most recently I replaced my AC unit. Out failed 11 months out of warranty. This is engineered failure at its finest. Designed to a fail after a pre determined periodao time. By the way, I own a 2003 Chevy Silverado. And they wonder why they need to be nailed out. *** ***

Remember the old song about how you should "look for the union label?" Yes, you should look to see if anything is made by a unionized company---and then buy a non-union brand. At least you will have a better chance of getting something well-made, rather than slipshod at best.

General Motors in Twin Lake, Michigan - Will not fix exhaust noise in new CTS

I bought a new 2012 CTS. When I get on it a little bit just before it shifts gears it makes a sound that sounds like all the baffles in the muffler or cat is going to fall out. I took it my dealer and they hear it also. They took another 2012 CTS and it does the same thing. I got a case number from GM (71-1061884386). They tell me there is nothing they can do. I have had 5-6 people tell me that the car sounds like it is falling apart when I step on it. The dealer hears, GM knows about it and will not do anything. What do I need to do to get some results. I did not buy a new $45,000.00 car to have something that sounds like it is falling apart. I am not bad mouthing the dealer, they have done everything they can at this time.

Purchased a slightly used 2006 Equinox LT AWD in 2007, had 2 wheel bearings go bad within 6 months but those were covered under extended warranty. However, my vehicle was only at 65,000 miles and just blew a head gasket. In the end, I decided to trade the thing in...

I hate my 2006 Equinox. Within 1 year had to rebuild heating block.

Nothing but problems. $1500 for heating. Over heating, blocked tubes flooding inside the car. Now blown head gasket.

I hate this car. Bought used and 11 years of problems.

Invested $1000's of dollars and still can't drive it. Should be listed as a LEMON!
