General Motors in Thunder Bay, Ontario - ABS SPEED SENSORE

ABS Light Keeps Going On My 2007 Chevy Uplander's ABS light goes on intermittently and infrequently. . The cost getting my vehicle scanned at Canadian tire was $100 the scan history came up with this C0040 code which indicated that the front right abs speed sensor was faulty. I have replaced the break bearing and abs speed sensor twice now and I still have the problem. This is so frustrating, as I never know whether there is a real problem with the ABS system or it's just another glitch. After this terrible experience I have found out on line that GM says lots of modules are being needlessly replaced as a result of the stored code(s). I wish I knew of this sooner I have spent a lot of money ($500 plus) to diagnose and try and repair the problem.

General Motors in Charlotte, North Carolina - GM refuse respond my request of engine oil leak.

Before this Cadillac Deville, certified, was out of warranty, I complained about oil leak, from bottom of engine, theyrefuse to do anything, saying it was normal. Now i am over 100K, out of warranty, and the company has given me the runa round, and refuses to anything to resolve this engine construction error. It does not burn oil, but LEAKs from the bottom. Repair cost is over $3000. dollars. I have written, thru certified mail, made many phone calls, and they called me, but NO, they can do nothing. I have been a faithful customer for over 30 years. I will never buy another GM car, truck or anything made by GM again. There service stinks, especially after receiving a Government bail out. SO much for that! I will continue to complain until we can get a 'Class-action' against this company for selling defective engines, especially the 4.6 liter, Northstar. Good engine, but oil leaks, will not stop, unless New materials ferom GM is reinstalled to stop the leak. OH YES, the engine must be dropped to install.

The gasket rubber material is a little too soft, pcv/crankcase system gets clogged up, and gummed up piston rings cause excessive crank case pressure +/or oil consumption. I worked at an Olds dealer doing engine reseal jobs on the deathstar/Northstar and Aurora enginee, which are basically the same engines.. Also have to remember most parts are designed to last long enough to make it outa the warranty period..

I bought a 2010 Equinox LT back in January of 2010. Since then, it has been in the shop 16 (yes, I'm not joking) times for major repairs between June 2010 and April 2012. After finally being patient enough, I contacted GM requesting them to review the issues my car has...

General Motors in Daytona Beach, Florida - GM NO customer service

This is to address a frustrating experience with GM since I bought my (then brand new) Envoy 2006. I experienced a problem with my car for the first 3 years I bought it. Besides other smaller issues, my car came with a noise that would come from the back seats or somewhere around. Cutting the very long history short (I am pretty sure GM has everything on file - I Do!) none of the GM assistance in Kissimmee or Orlando were able to find the cause of that noise. After many years, time consuming, work hours lost and stressful and frustrating situations, my husband and I gave up trying and just kept the car like this, knowing that anytime we will try to sell it the buyer will complain and we will loose money right there. The funny and irritating part is that we had the GM warranty for the first years, GM was NEVER able to fix the issue that came from the plant with the car, and then I was told that the car was not in the warranty anymore, therefore I could have no assistance without paying!!! I cannot even start to explain the anger and the feeling of betrayal as a customer, and for such an expensive matter. It is not that we bought a pen in a dollar store!!! Time goes by and now I see myself unbeliaveble-ly going through the very same situation, just the car issue changed (by the way, my 9 year old son found out what is the problem, the sound comes from the back panel control for the radio and ac... The check engine light started going on and off about 1 year ago, and, because it would sometimes be off for weeks, even months, we did not bother until it started being on more often and the fuel sensor stopped working. I took it to Advanced Auto care to do a check and it accused that it was the fuel sensor ( I just wanted to make sure I had the reading from another place other than GM since my prior experience does not allow me to trust GM service). It was when I learned that there is a "light recall" or however GM calls it, for this problem. I called GM, spoke to Mrs. H., and she sent me to Fountain Auto Mall in Orlando (I know well that place, unfortunately). They confirmed the problem was the fuel and they "fixed" the sensor. however, the check engine light keeps going on and off, basically after a little while when I put gas in my car. Mr. R, from GM customer service, at this point was following up with calls etc.. and I spoke to him about the issue. Fountain Auto Mall set up an appointment for me to take the car back (here I go all again) to check. I did so yesterday (April, 6 2012) and - surprisingly (I am being sarcastic) they told me that the engine light on means "low idle" and it is not the same issue w/ the fuel sensor issue therefore there is nothing they can do for me and I should pay (how convenient) $99 just to check why the idle is low.......Kidding? Any 9 year old would know better that low idle comes also from the fuel pump, fuel filter or such and what a coincidence they touch my car and now this..... believing that Gm could redeem itself from previous experience I trusted that Mr. R.would assist me by allowing further check on my car, fair enough, to make sure the low idle IS due to the fuel system (which they DID NOT fix, clearly), I contacted him, who, not only was very unhelpful, but sarcastic and anti professional, telling me that my car is not new and I will have problems with the car from now on....This not only underestimate my intelligence as put me more frustrated.....I WILL have problems w/ my car SR.? I ALWAYS had problems w/ my car since I bought it.... I understand that Gm customer service personnel needs to close their "cases" and better if it is as soon as possible to get rid of issues and to have one more case "solved" in their pile, however, my case Sr. is far from being "closed". It does not even matter the fact that OF COURSE this was the first and last time me and anybody else I know will not buy GM or affiliated cars never more in life, but I am not going to be fooled again by GM. I am going further on this, I want nothing else than my car problems caused by GM's lack of professionalism and knowledge to fix he cars, to be fixed, any other issues I had w/ my car, I took care of, I pa I have the right and proof enough since the beginning, all paperwork, more than 20 times I took my car to service. I want you to know that Gm can pretend to care for its customers by calling, flowering the customer service in talking, following ups etc.. but this is all for your eyes only. Gm does not do anything for customers just pretend it does, and, like every single situation in life one day the curtain falls and the faces come up. I feel disrespected and being forced to pay for a service that, not only is GM's responsibility, but I would not choose to fix my car should I pay for it. GM authorized service touched my car and either created another problem or did not fix the problem in the corrected way, for the 20th time, and I have to hear from the customer service rep. that my car is going to give me problems……. I will search for assistance in this matter, this is the minimum I can do to make it right and worth to have bought a car 0miles, brand new and never had the feeling.

Hey I hear they are more of a quantity not quality kind of company. I just wrote this to the corporate office.

as this is another thing that erks me.

Dear Chevy I would like to know how do you justify charging over $400.00 to remove a gauge cluster from trailblazers and another $400.00 for the part. I would really like to know why would you rip off your loyal customers? My gas gauge has broken 2 times in your truck and $800.00 later not because of ware and tear but because your putting cheap products into your cars and your consumer has to pay the price for your mistakes! you couldn't do the right thing for me and fix your mistake.

I just had someone else repair my cluster for under $100.00 and I removed it and reinstalled it on my own in under 5 minutes.

So again How do you justify the rates your charging for labor, and the price for the repair? Because you would not do right by me I am trying to reach out to every Chevy owner I can and let them know what has happened to me and how to get this issue fixed without being ripped off by GM.

General Motors in Mesa, Arizona - Ureai

I have a 2012 hd 3/4 ton pickup and the dealer ship in az said I can only add urea when the light comes on and have to add 3 1/2 gallons at that time. Why can I not add a gallon so I know for sure I can make it back home to dealer were I purchase the pickup from. Why is there no percent gauge like fuel filter or oil change. Does GM need new engineers. I have had several GM units and have good vehicles and that's why I keep going back to them. This fall is the first time I check out a Ford but chose GM. Ford has there filler for urea on the out side and I think that is a good idea. I am not happy with GM s set up. My name is Allen Lenertz and my phone is 701-833-9742

I came on the second appointment for my aux button problem and steering wheel noise They took the car and when I came to recieve it they told me that noise in steering wheel is normal and my cd is not working !!!!!!!They tried to fix the cd which is working fine and left the main problem ( aux) After contacting GM they took the sound system for one week to replace and it was done. I told them I need a report that driving Yukon give noise is normal they refused and after contacting GM I got a phone call to bring the car to service. I went and I had to wait 40 min for the contact person who stopped answering my phone calls. General Motors in Mount Laurel, New Jersey - NEVER BUY GM

Hi everyone, just to inform anyone out there buying new or used car.i got a 2009 chevy silverado less then a year ago it was used with 33000 miles, winter came and i noticed some paint bubbles in the rear left fender i washed it and metal is starting to rust took it to mike mooney chevrolet and was told they could not repair because it had to be rust through in order for them to fix it.so i was like wtf the truck is not even 3 years old. so i called gm and talked to some one who again said the paint pealing off the truck was not a defect and that i would have to pay for repairs.as i said it the truck is less than 3 years old, i have a nissan armada 6 years old and no signs of rust at all. now i understand all of you buying japanese cars and trucks. i never had to deal with something like this. gm just lost not one but many customers after this i will let know as many people as a i can about their poorly built trucks.
