General Motors - Sorry parts warranty

I purchased a transmission and torque converter over the counter and installed them. Torque converter was bad so they will warranty in but want to charge me labor to replace it. Insinuated that I probably did something wrong installing it. Which if I had they would not warranty the converter. I buy American but in the future it will be Ford who does warranty labor to replace faulty parts they sell you. I have been a GM guy for 25 years but I guess they could give a *** less about loyal customers. Ford man now

ASE Certification means nothing, it's just basic knowledge of whichever test you want to cert under, basic mechanical technology to air conditioning basic knowledge. And yes, I have the certifications, it makes some customers feel better about having a technician with a certification patch on their sleeve work on the vehicle.

Monster Transmission - 4L60E junk after 300 miles

Ordered tranny installed it. Lasted 7 days. Monster said I would have to send it back & then they would see if they would cover it. Went & got a GM Goodwrench with warranty. Have 70,000 on tranny with no issues.

What about the cameras that actually show the guys building your transmission? Are you saying that those guys are NOT at Monster Transmission, but in another, undisclosed location altogether?

Where do they outsource from? Why are the people on camera wearing Monster t-shirts if they're not working for Monster?

This is weird.

I'm going to drive over to the Monster shop and see for myself. I'll be there next week, on vacation.
