General Motors in Newburyport, Massachusetts - GM produces cars with inferior parts that rust and corrode.

My 2005 top-of-the-line Trailblazer XET with just over 30K miles had the AC completely fail and will require a $1200 repair! Apparently the pipe leading to the rear AC failed. This is the second major issue on this vehicle involving major corrosion or rust--the first time the car failed inspection just one month out of warranty requiring replacement of all 4 rotors--$1200 again. GM's "resolution" involved a 20% discount on the AC repair, still leaving me holding the bag for their substandard materials. Clearly GM uses inferior materials (from China, I wonder) and produces vehicles that do not last beyond the warranty.
