I had a 2015 Chevy Silverado that I bought brand new. I only got 3500 miles out of this truck when the BCM shorted out and my turn signals stopped working.

The dealer replaced the BCM but informed me that there was a ground short that they needed to find. After having the vehicle over a month they found that a wire was pinched in the courtesy light system when the right hand sun visor was installed at the factory. This wire was the reason the BCM shorted out. When I went to pick up the truck I was charged $800 dollars for parts and labor and told that this was not a warranty issue!!!

I took this matter up with GM corporate just to be told yet another month later that they were sorry but there was nothing they could do. SERIOUSLY???? 3500 MILES???

We USED to be loyal GM customers but I have since brought my business to Toyota. They have bent over backward to make certain I am a satisfied customer!!

IN GOOD FAITH I WAS ASISTING MY DAUGHTER TO PURCHASE A CAR BY COSIGNING FOR HER. DEALERSHIP WANTED ME TO FALSIFY THE PAPERS BY PUTTING MY DAUGHTER LIVING AT MY HOME WHICH IS A FELLONY AFANCE. I TOLD THEM NO. NEXT WHEN I REVIEWED THE PAPERWORK I FOUND THAT THEY HAD LISTED ME AS THE BUYER NOT AS THE COSIGNER.SO I WENT BACK AND ASKED FOR THE PAPER WORK TO BE CHANGED AND THEY SAID WE DID THAT TO SELL THE CAR AND REFUSED TO CORRECT IT. SORRY IT'S THEY BANK CONCERN NOW. TAKE IT U[ WITH THE GMC FINANCE. I CALLED GMC AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO THEM AND AS OF TODAY I HAVE HEARD NOTHING GMC FIANINCE WAS VERY UPSET WHEN I SPOKE TO THEM. THE OPERATOR STATED THAT SHE WAS PUTTING IN A GRIEVANCE IN AND I SHOULD BE HEARING BACK FROM THEM. I HAD ON MY VIENTNAM VETERANS HAT AND JACKET ON AND THIS IS HOW THEY TREATED ME BY 5 OF THE EMPLOYEESCOMIING AROUND ME ON BOTH SIDES AND IN FRONT OF ME. THEY TOLD ME TOUGH LUCK AND GET OUT OF OUR DEALERSHIP. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ATHER CAR FROM A GMC DEALERSHIP BECAUSE I DO NOT FEEL THAT THEY CARE ABOUT THE COSTOMER ONLY SELLING THE CARS. Chevrolet Tracker Review

Update on Tracker crossmember. GM was no help what so ever. Paid out of pocket to have it done. My friend however repaired it for me. It was hanging by half inch of metal. I am surprised it did not snap off. Sent an email to GM, basically, calling them worthless sheisters. No reply of course.

General Motors in Doylestown, Pennsylvania - 2016 Chevy Silverado broken 4WD 1500 miles!!!

I just paid $55k for a brand new Chevy Silverado High Country and after 1500 miles the 4WD broke while my family was in the car. My back right wheel locked up and the tire was dragging. I havent been able to drive the car for 4 days now and the dealership gave me a dirty Nissan Murano with old food in the cup holder. This is my 3rd consecutive Chevy and after this experiance I will never drive another Chevy. I will be calling GM today to make a full compliant....like they will really care. Do not buy from FredBeans in Doylestown, PA.

To be fair, the car IS sixteen years old. How many miles you got on her?

Just FYI, most "foreign" cars are manufactured right here in the good ole U.S. of A.!

But I'll agree that I've experienced better performance from my Toyota than I ever did with a Chevy. Good luck.

General Motors in Butler, Pennsylvania - GMC Black Friday and Shop Click Drive False Advertising

1.0
Details
We purchase a new car about every year, but we've never purchased a new GM product. My wife decided she liked the Acadia so we start doing some research at about the same time the 2015 Black Friday sale started. We searched local inventory and used the GMC website "Shop, Click, Drive" feature that says "The price you see is the price you pay". Using the GMC website we found a vehicle and the summary of the price showed the Black Friday discount combined with a $2500 trade allowance that was issued to us from the "Shop Click Drive" site, along with an estimated trade-in value for our vehicle. So we proceeded to the dealer where they agreed to the trade-in price that the website showed, but they informed us the $2500 trade in allowance couldn't be combined with the Black Friday deal. At this point I showed them the printout directly from the GMC website that should line by line MSRP, Black Friday discount, $2500 trade in allowance, estimated trade-in and final price. They said they'd have to research it as it was out of their control and from GM directly. So we went home and let the dealer sort it out. The next day the dealer said the two deals couldn't be combined. At this point we contacted GMC Marketing directly. I couldn't understand how the information provided from the GMC website wouldn't be honored. After several frustrating hours talking to various agents, providing an email of the "Shop Click Drive" summary, and asking them to escalate this issue, the final conclusion they provided to us was that while the website showed the Black Friday combined with the $2500 trade-in allowance there was actually disclaimers that said not all offers were able to be combined. I understand this, but the GMC website combined these offers on the summary. At this point I told the agent I would never purchase a GMC vehicle and I will warn everyone I know about this experience. In my opinion this this is down right fraud and false advertising. Even if it was a glitch in the system GMC should have made an exception and honored their mistake. All I can say is beware of any advertised pricing from GMC, and GM has lost at least one customer for life.

General Motors in Allentown, Pennsylvania - Drivers side Seat Leans to the right,

I purchased this car 2 years ago and it only has 49,000 miles on it and now this happens, Upon entering the vehicle, the driver's side power seat collapsed, leaving the seat leaning backward and to the right. There appear to be broken frame welds on the right side where the up and down motor is located. As the seat is no longer attached to the frame, this is an extreme safety risk were there to be an accident. The weld on the seat broke and the seat leans right and back, very uncomfortable and a real safety hazard. SAD

I took my car in for service on 3/20/15 and I dealt with Zanfra (dark hair) and I have never felt so uncomfortable. I need a shuttle ride and she made it seem like it was such a big ordeal. If it was such a big ordeal they should not offer a shuttle. She gave me such attitude and there is no team work. She has such a bad attitude and her language and how she talks about other customers in front of other customers is not a good business practice to have someone with such an attitude working with customers. I have never been someone where, where an employee was talking about customers like that. She also complained how Joe lets everyone do what they want and maybe he needs to work out here an deal with these customers. The shuttle drive was very nice and made me feel welcome and when I was leaving a lady with blonde hair said if I ever need anything to call her. I bought my car here and bring it in for service and never experience what I experienced. I will now find another dealership to have my car service. VERY POOR SERVICE!!!
